These next pictures are of the upcoming series 5 with the frog. Notice the lilly pad on the belly.
In the 6th grade in November of 2007 I sent Arkadium the picture of croak and kool-ala as shown above for a business letter project. I had the picture with me and I never got time to send it so I said "Ehh, what the heck." And I even wrote please respond and I waited and waited until after about 4 months I gave up on getting a response. Then my brother sent his funkey idea "crop" a farmer funkey to Mattel. After a month they sent him a letter with crop in it saying that they don't eccept outside ideas. They said that if a funkey happens to look like your idea when released then it is just a coincidence. I still never got a response, why? Because they needed the picture to differ the apperence and make it there own so they wouldn't have to pay the creater for the idea. I really don't care about the money I just would have been fine if they just said that my creative skills are good enough to make a toy out of.
Now I ask you is it a coincidence or did they steal croak? Answer in the poll and PLEASE leave a comment to see who is on my side.

The thing with callling Radica is that there is nothing they could do about it. I could complain but talking about it over the phone to one person who is just there for tech support or questions isn't going to do anything.

At first I thought maybe just a coincidence since there aren't too many ways to make a frog from a Funkey shape. But with the colors and lily pad on the stomach, I'm wondering!

I was thinking that if the name is croak, phibbean, or ribbit than it is mine because at the time, I sent them all 3 names but after that I settled for croak. Oh and if the rareities are the same than there is no questioning it.
I was thinking maybe they were already working on one like that already but the lily pad really is just crazy!

first of all its not a lilly pad on radicas its a leaf second of all you sent radicca a discription of your funkey so technically once you give them an idea its not yours anymore, finally how do you know radiccas is called croak personally i would rather a frog called ribbit than croak.
Ps:frogs don't croak they make ribbit sounds toads croak
jairo if you think about how long it took them to make the simpsons movie & when it was probably ready, that scene would have been completed waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay earlier than you would've made your comic so don't acuse them of stealing your idea as they would've had it adges before you did.Really you people are just sad blaming compinies & looking for a excuse to say you did some- thing & they stole it.

First of all, we just asked you to leave a simple yes or no answering our question. We don't need a whole article on why it's a coincidence, and we don't need your little history lesson on frogs and toads. Plus, you don't need to call us cry babies for asking other's opinions. Second, I don't want to hear how "Koolala" is a retarded name for a koala, we didn't even ask you for your opinion on that.
